Can someone tell me if the 44 ton switcher typically had marker lights.

a Bing image search reveals no 44 tonners had markers:

I would say no for the side markers. the outlet and holders are there but not even wired on my two units.
My PRR units both have the end marker lights, red only . Just great looking in the dark. Very small but very narrow spot lights.
We added them to the 45 ton unit for safety on night runs at the RR.
I'll see if I have a picture.

Here you go, I knew I tried to take a picture of them once.
The PRR specified them on there units after the first couple were built. They maybe the oddity but they did have them. The parts I have been getting from CNJ #1912 also has them. They are on the GE blue prints.
This picture doesn't do them justice, but they are pretty cool little lights. you can see them way down the line.

Thanks for the information.
I should have said that I'm in the middle of modelling an ATSF 44 ton switcher and couldn't find any prototypes with front/rear marker lights.
Try to Flicker an ATSF 44 ton I have seen pictures of them.
