My Grandaughters Kindergarten has a thing every week one child gets to take home "George the giraffe" for the weekend.
They have a scrapbook for George and each child has to supply a couple of photos and a little story of what George got up to that weekend.
Yeh that's right he ended up at Grandads house and, Oh well.....

Children can be such a Blessing. My wife and I are currently raising our Great Granddaughter. I totally forgot how much work they can be.
Grand kids are the best and you have a very cute one there! Hope she likes Grandad's trains too. Looks like George was enjoying himself as well. 
Sounds like a neat project for the kids too.
Looks like George could have a lot of fun adventures on that layout!
Around here the kids had a similar project in "Flat Stanley", a paper cutout that the children would color then take pictures of him in various locales.

I was saying to Margie the other night that we have never been without children for over 40 years we have four children and nine grandchildren and love them all I had some of the young blokes running trains last Sunday on fathers day and we all had a good time it's a wonderful hobby that I share with lots of people, my Friends, my Kids, my grandchildren and I know lots of the members here do the same I have read your posts. Thanks for all the replies and Lucy was so pleased to see her photo with George on the Forum or should I say on the computer screen it won't be long before she understands what a forum is!

Great shots, I remember that same activity with my grandson, only they had a live turtle. Don't worry, she will know what a forum is soon enough, and then you won't be able to tear her away from the technology. Don't ask me how I know this...
