Hey all, i recently decided to get back into model railroading after a 15 year break. Id like to do a 5x9, but im a terrible wood worker and have no wood working tools and need some help designing a layout. Any advice is appreciated.
Obviously the table comes first. If you can get a 5' x 9' piece of plywood, you're off to a good start. Ping pong tables are 5' x 9'. Most that I have seen fold in half and have integral legs that also fold. Any good lumber yard should have plywood of that size but they may have to get a pice in for you.
If you live anywhere near Fort Washington, Pa. I can help you build it.
