Ross has always had a supply of many of their products at York.  If there is something in particular that you want, I recommend that you give Steve a call ahead of time and make sure he has it there for you. I have done that before and it worked great.

Gargraves has not sold directly out of their booth at York so they don't compete with their dealers, but their products are usually available from several vendors at the show.

Enjoy York!

If you're driving to York this would be a great time to stock up on cases of Gargraves track.

One reason-shipping cost.

Expensive to ship a large quantity of track (heavy).  Learned that last year.

Not sure Ross is still shipping Gargraves 51 pc cases at $25 each shipping charge, but if they are, it's a bargain.  But, it's $25 per case you could save by transporting yourself in the car...

So ross is selling gargraves track at the show? Do you remember the case price?

For 27 years I have depended on Gargraves track and Ross Custom switches. For reliability, availability, and variety you cannot match this combination. And when you add in Tortoise switch machines you have given yourself years of trouble free operation. Ross switches come with a lifetime warranty and you will see when you meet Steve at York what a class act he is. Margraves Phantom Rail track matches Ross' switches perfectly and is easy to bend, cut and use.

I switched from Lionel tubular to gragraves and ross switches 6 months ago.  I added on to the layout for running dcs and legacy so I could run newer trains ( I was postwar before). The new trains just didn't like the tubular.  I am ready to switch (existing tubular) it all out to gargraves and ross. It's so much easier to lay and a lot smoother over switches.

Coming into the Orange Hall from the front entrance, Gargraves has had its booth on the right end of the Hall. Behind it on the first aisle is a dealer from PA that sells Gargrave's track and accessories. In all of my years going to York I have never found Gargrave's at any other dealer but Ross (on the left end of the hall) sometimes sells it. If you use Gargraves or Ross track (they interchange perfectly) be sure to pick up a bag of the (#3) 3/4" blackened screws that is the recommended size.
