Hi Guys - I thought I'd post this under a proper heading rather than continue the earlier thread . Here is the latest info I have from Jimmy Booth on the Alco S2/4 that will be offered as Santa Fe, Southern Pacific , Union Pacific , and if I can muster support for it - PRR . The SF and SP will come in 2 paint schemes . There will be 2 road numbers offered on each FP version . There will be a unpainted ''generic'' version with a parts bag and even the unpainted version will come with lighting installed . All versions - both factory painted and unpainted will come in right around $1500 . There will be a P48 kit available and I'll have a price on the kit soon . I would ask that you direct all inquiries directly to me as Jimmy has many things on his plate and he remains skeptical that I can muster the support to move this project forward . Those of you who are fortunate to own any of his SP steam in O know the research he puts into his projects and the results he gets working with Boo-Rim . These will be fantastic models . I will answer all e-mail inquiries personally , but please allow up to 24 hours for a response as I work full time and am only near a computer days Monday-Saturday east coast time . Thanks for the interest . Bryan Davies (k27bry@yahoo.com)

Now this is really interesting. I'd have to take the unpainted in order to get CB&Q.

What paint schemes for the SP and ATSF?
The SP will be offered in tiger stripes and the gray/scarlet . Santa Fe will be offered as black/white zebra stripes - likely with the blue flag on the hood side . Union Pacific as one scheme - perhaps with ad on cab side ( ''Route of The Streamliner '' ) or safety slogan in addition to it's road number . PRR if it get's done would be Brunswick green .
Regards,
Bryan
Sorry - the second Santa Fe is the blue/yellow early scheme .

As always Bryan, I'm in for at least one PRR version and a "generic" one suitable for one of the Anthracite roads if it is done.
I will sign up for atleast one, in GM&O

Wow this would be a NICE project!
I am curious if this project has traction...?
Kind of hard to reach these guys---no one answers the phone and the website does not have a email listing.
Not something I'm interested in but I'd be pretty sure Jimmy Booth will be at the National if an attendee asked.
