Good source for conveyor belts and other accessory parts?

Does anyone know of a good source of various bits and pieces that could be used for building your own operating accessories? I have a Lionel Sawmill and would like to modify it with a conveyor belt or lift mechanism to load to sawed planks onto a flatcar. I'd also like to build a conveyor belt so my barrel unloading car can dump barrels off on one side of a factory building and then have them load on the other side. I'm sure there has to be a company out there selling this stuff.
