Are the Grand Central scenic items something available for pick up in San Diego? Or are they strictly mail order. I'm very interested if you have had any experience in ordering from them.

I have not used mail order, so I can't say. I picked up some Grand Central scenery from a defunct hobby shop. It is very nice stuff. I particularly like their palm trees and redwood trees.

The Grand Central Gems Redwoods are my favorite hobby tree. I have one of the tall packs (2 trees) and 2 of the next size down (3 trees) they are the best trees on the market.

Great scene. Wish you could just buy the Smokey the Bear figure.

Smoke Bear is in one of Grand Central Gems tree packs. I know the Train Room in Hagerstown, MD carries the Grand Central Gem trees. I bought one there with Smokey in it myself.
