While passing through Louisville, MS I stopped to see the GM&O caboose the city had displayed. Unfortunately it has been butchered as far as cosmetic restoration is concerned. It has masonite siding, aluminum windows and a tin roof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

But on the other hand, it was a gold mine for great detail pics to use when building cabooses. I am about to undertake a new build for myself as I build this cab as it was in 1963. I am going to build this one in PROTO 48 (I hope I ain't opening a can of worms here!!!).

 

Here are a few of my treasured detail shots. I almost caused several accidents as drivers were trying to figure out what the guy was doing laying under the caboose!
