I had heard rumors of these sets existence. Last year a set came up for sale and I was not able to acquire it; today I did. These are truss rod cars with exceptional underbody detail. I will be prepping them, adding glass, interior paint and of course exterior paint and decals. Rich Yoder trucks will go underneath; archbar or Andrews---have not determined which.

Believe Andrews trucks would be the prototype choice for trucks. These cars are a bit more "modern" then their truss rods would indicate. They also had a steel channel underframe. Have the same car in "revenue service" form and they came from Pacific Limited with Andrews trucks.
