Anyone use ground foam on your backdrop for texture? I have a very narrow space that I need to add some texture and second dimension. I am talking about a wooded area/trees here.

I had both ground foam and painted backdrops on 1/8 MDF.. Very flexible and easy to install.
the light green is on backdrop
mix of painted and ground foam.
also did it for a portion that was fall scene.
That looks nice. The trees and foliage blend well into the backdrop.

Malcolm - you might check Chris Smith's (N&W Chris) article in the latest O Scale Trains on minimal depth scenery - some interesting ideas with great results.
