The show floor was going to be open until 8pm so the late arrivals could set up. Everybody in our group had gone home for the night. Now was my chance, and I took it!

The first thing I had to do was get these wheezers out of the terminal and back on the roundhouse garden tracks where they belong. I used my trusty 0-5-0 switcher with 2 armed burro crane to do the job quickly, yet delicately... oh so.. delicately...

Then the terminal was clear for take-over!

Later, the next morning, while I was sleeping soundly in my hotel bed, our group came back and stared in wonder at the glorious locomotive display I created the night before, almost like kids on Christms day.

Then they cursed and swore until they were red-faced because somebody touched their trains without their permission. Ahhhh good times.... : )

Hi Andrew The 4 window wide cabs on my CN units are highly detailed resin castings, pretty sturdy overall, but since they're not part of the original shells they can break off easily of mishandled. The add on details are mostly brass, but they're fine scaled and a bit fragile I love these units and it was worth every penny I spent to make them, but I would much rather have some Atlas units to take to shows just so these guys can stay safe back here on home rails

Hi, very awesome...seen this layout a couple times. As a painter and custom builder for about 20 years now id like to build a CP SD40-2F. I as admiring that CN full with carbody, did you start with a kaslo cab and lots of evergreen styrene...How did you mount the shell?
