May we all enjoy the warmth of family and friends as we celebrate this holiday in our respective traditions.

Confession: I like Easter Vigil rather than Sunday Easter. The people there want to be there instead of showing off their new dress or suit to friends, know when to sit, stand, kneel, and know the Lord's Prayer. Will admit I am not good at the Rosary. Its like you get into a groove repeating the same things, listen to the readings from Genesis until He Has Risen, and then your mind is open to the message. Used to be in the choir, the music director pulls out all the stops. Went once without the family because little kids, and at that church you can watch the organist play, and it was jaw dropping watching him put everything into it, every bit of his life time of playing keyboards. We had a HS football game and Covid-19, just wasn't go to happen, but next year, I'm there.
