Just wondering if this has been done. At some point I would like to have command control in a S gauge American Flyer Geep or a Baldwin switcher even if it didn't have sound.

We have done several Geeps Chris. If I remmeber correctly, on a MTH GP, you should mount the commander on its side so that when the heat sink warms up it will not melt the sides of the body.

Thanks for the input Bill but I didn't make my first post clear. I mean an S gauge AF Diesel. I've changed my post. Thank you.
Cool page Carl! I'll spend some time checking it out. Thanks.
Carls web site is the best.
I have done a number of American Flyer locomotives, they work out fine. If you do your planning well you can even get the sound in. I have done one of the Gilbert Baldwins with sound but did convert to a can motor. You can even find room in the American Models GPs for the motor driver.
