I now only use the sidewalks available through OGR. With the right spray-paints and the right weathering-powders, I can make them as aged or new as I feel fits the scene. Also, they can be cut with a hand/hack-saw quite easily to truncate them where they need shortened to any length. A hand-file can easily clean-up any rough ends after they have been cut to-length, helping them abut each other seamlessly.
Perhaps, these shots of the OGR sidewalks in-stu will recommend them to you.

I really can't comment on them. I have purchased a number of Bar Mills products and have always been pleased. I have seen these and just not sure as to how they would take paint or how durable they would be.
I've always used the ones from Crow River. Made from resin. Decent price. Corner and driveway sections available. crowriverproducts.com
I bought a Bar Mills building that included a sidewalk, and would say it was very nice. It took paint very well, and is nicely detailed.
Frank,
awesome layout, I love it! I forgot about the OGR sidewalks, they're a lot cheaper too.
Dave,
I didn't know about the Crow River ones - very nice. I think I want to go with a lightly distressed look.
Here's a survey I did of O scale sidewalks a year or so ago.

Might be useful.

You might try Downtown Deco sidewalks. They are a bit high (1/4") but very detailed.
A bit pricey but I like them a lot.
