I'm pretty excited about heading for Green Bay this Fri, neither my Wife or me have ever been there and the train show sounds wonderful. My wife really likes water so understand there is ice on Lake Mich but thats okay. We've never been to York, Pa either so we are planning on going theis fall. Don't knowif I'll run into any of you Forum members but if so looking forward to it!

Enjoy! I’ve never been so if you take some pictures and would like to share your observations post trip that would be great.
I’ve gone to Trainfest in Milwaukee a bunch of times and that is always worth the drive north. Curious how the two compare.
Don't forget to go o the National; RR Museum in Green Bay.

Absolutely agree. That museum is first class. A big boy and a gg 1 inside!
To see Lake Michigan you'll need to take a little ride to the East. Either go up into the Door Peninsula (a nice ride) or straight to the coastline. Green Bay itself is not that spectacular.
I'll 3rd going to the National Railroad Museum. It is very close to where the Titletown train show is held at. Also, for great eats, go to Titletown Brewery, situated in the old C&NW train station. (also pretty close by) The elk burger is my fave.
For O and S Gauge trains visit GB Train Shop www.railtycoon.com
For HO and N Gauge trains visit www.enginehouseservices.com
Both shops will be at TTS
GB Trains and Enginehouse services have tickets at a discount, get a ticket on Friday and walk right in Saturday morning, no standing in line.
Countdown is on
I'll add a vote to recommend the museum and the Titletown Brewery as well( the bison burger and a pint of '400' mmmmm...) Personally though, I prefer to visit Green Bay in the fall. GO PACKERS!!!!!
For one thin dollar you can take a ride on the Zippin Pippin rollercoaster at Bay Beach park. (most rides at 25 to 50 cents)
