The Lionel #1926053 graffiti Union Pacific 86’ box car generated a lot of press in a previous post about the cancellation of the Lionel UP graffiti Genset. Lionel removed this car from their online website after they canceled the Genset.
I thought it only appropriate to repaint mine!

I like it. Those enormous boxcars are well out of my layout's era, but I almost bought one - it came down to the Frisco or NYC - just because.
I wonder how long it will be before they make the 4-door model in the paint schemes of:
Denver & Rio Grande Western, Southern Pacific, Missouri Pacific, Chicago & Eastern Illinois, MO-PAC, UNION PACIFIC - We can handle it., Chicago & North Western original, CNW 'Safety Yellow'.
