Problem with PS 3 locomotive...smoke... | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

so heres m,y problem and was wondering if anyone could help. I just recently purchased a MTH o scale railking es44ac csx with ps3 well when i fill the smoke unit up smoke comes out from under the rear of the body shell on the locomotive but if i blow into the were the molded in fan blades are the smoke will come out the stack just fine so does anyone know why it would do this if you could help that would be great.

Sometimes a bubble of fluid will block the path for the smoke to get out. Blowing down the stack will also help.

That's not all that unusual. You just got a bubble blocking the smoke stack. Next time, blow down the stack rather than on the dummy fans.
