The Santa Fe diesels might be worth something decent and the milk car & one boxcar, otherwise most of the stuff is common Lionel. Lehigh Valley and NYC is very common, so you won't get much money for those.
The 2056 steam engine needs a few parts from what I can see, you would do well to find a Lionel parts dealer for the parts for that engine. You can find a Lionel parts dealer at most major train shows.

I dont plan on selling them I would like to fix them up and run them right now they dont run. Right now I have all moderen trains eh
Fix them, run them and, above all, enjoy them!
Chad, here's a good website: http://www.tandem-associates.c...onel/lionelident.htm

Here are two websites that you will find useful:

Above all, don't try to run them before they've been properly lubricated.
Chad, I don't know where you live, but there should be a Forum tech somewhere within driving distance, that can get your locos up and running. Ask for help, or get a Greenberg guide and tackle the job yourself, there is always good advice here on the forum.

Looking through your pictures, you have some nice trains but I don't see anything that is rare. I suggest fixing them up and enjoying them.
In addition to the resources already posted, here is one on fixing them up:
The 2056 steam loco is from 1952 did not have magna traction because the Korean war
created a shortage of the metal. Looks like you may have the Lionel 1952 set #1483-
2056engine, black 6462, 6465,3474 and 6357 caboose.
The Santa Fe A-B 2243 were made 1955 thru 1957 it has only a single motor. Not sure if you have a set for this.
This would be a good start for a postwar collection,
Have nice Thanksgiving,
franktrain
The 2243 with the raised steps dates it to 1955 I think. C.W, correct me if I'm wrong. You wouldn't have happened to have gotten a brown B+O Automobile double door boxcar with the trains, did you?
It looks like there is most of the 1955 1535W set there - 2243P/C, 6436, 6462-25 (green) . Set would have also had a brown 6468 double door boxcar but it looks like the 6464-50 was substituted instead (a common practice and the early catalogs of that year indicated the more common 6464 boxcar ). Just the common 6257 caboose is missing.
With a bit of cleanup and a few parts and a caboose you'll have two nice sets to run.

Chad, email sent!
the 2056 & the 2243 are both good runners once you clean them up. Enjoy them - nothing beats the postwar trains!
Jeff is he best for parts.
and that 2056 isn't worth bothering with, I'll swing by and get it out of your way!
wish I had friends like that!
Lots of good info here Thanks to you all eh
Chad,
CW's advice is spot on. You stated that you're into the modern stuff. Just in chase your modern trains take a dump you'd have good dependable trains to run while you modern trains are being repaired......Just a thought.
