Greetings Everyone.
I could use a little help with this one. I purchased a K-line Pennsylvania Railroad Trainmaster #8701 (Item Number K2480-8701CC). It is as close to new as it gets. Looks like it has never been on the track. It is TMCC with Rail Sounds. Everything functions as it should. Here’s the catch. I entered the specifics of this locomotive into my CAB-2 remote manually. It is entered as “Diesel”, “TMCC” with “Rail Sounds”. It starts up and idles waiting for a command from the remote as it should. However, it will not move until it gets to the number 12 (with regard to speed) on the remote display. It revs-up, but it will not move. Once it hits 12 or 13 it takes off almost like a delayed reaction momentum and runs pretty fast. I have preformed a reset and then re-entered the engine into the CAB-2 but it acts the same as it did before the reset. Here’s the $64,000.00 question. What am I doing wrong? Also, once the engine takes off and I decrease the throttle, it sometimes slows down on curves (60” Radius). I hope I have provided an adequate amount of information to correct this issue. BTW, it’s a very nice engine and has a great horn.
