Putting this out to the amazing and talented people on this forum who can hopefully help me avoid a warranty return. Just received the new Vision Big Boy, placed it on the track and applied power so that I could program it into my Legacy remote. As soon as I applied power, the engine immediately started up with all lights and smoke features going full bore. I attempted to place it into program mode to no avail, even tried controlling it with Engine ID 1 thinking maybe it had already been programmed. Was able to connect it to bluetooth using the lion chief app on my phone, and was able to control the limited features via the app although the smoke features were not longer working. On a whim I then turned off the bluetooth and cut the power, this time when I re-applied power I was able to program the engine into my Legacy remote, and all features were working. I went to bed excited with my new toy. Today however while running in Legacy mode, my locomotive became unresponsive to legacy command and the only way I could stop it was by cutting the power, on re-application of power, it is now acting like it did when I first received it and will no longer respond to Legacy or allow any other control other than bluetooth. The only difference is this time turning off the bluetooth on the locomotive didn't allow me to then program/control with Legacy. I have tried several of my other Legacy engines, and they all work and respond appropriately. Sorry for the long. story, just trying to provide as much info as possible.
Cheers,
Byron
