Hi Dave - just curious. I guess I asked the question in the title. I may have missed follow up on this.

William 1,
The 249 ERR upgrade was a Train Wreck, Guns did a great job upgrading the 249 however the people who delivered the Engine & Tender must have thrown it up on our front porch, this has happend before with deliveries coming in from the eastern part of our state. Unfortunately I had to send it back to Guns a couple days ago. At 1st I thought it was me not understanding how to program the ERR into my Legacy Cab2, I wish that would have been the real problem. The 249 would never run in FWD correctly at all, we did for a while have it running in Rev, then it quit all together. I do believe the the engine and tender were thrown around so much that it damaged the ERR unit that Guns put into the Train. The lights would function when it sat on the powered track at the end and nothing else. I am hoping Guns can fix her and return her to me, we will see what happens. I had planned this all out for use with my Christmas layout this year, unfortunately this happen.

Dude, that stinks. All I can say is my mantra - I refuse to get stressed out about toy trains. Best of luck.
William 1,
Bill believe me when I tell you this little incident is no kind of stress in my case, sir I have a belly full of food and nobody is shooting at me. I have a wonderful wife, and it's been a fantastic Christmas, and that sir is reality to this old retired US Army CID Special Agent.
Life is good
