Eliot,
Just got back from Springfield, MA. What a great idea! Really great pics w a lot of meaning for the people who are posting them, which makes a great thing even better.

I like this one. Pure toy trains, straight up. Leica lens Lumix FZ35. No gimmicks, no fancy gear unless a tripod counts.

FANTASTIC PICS-WOW
Outstanding Pic's Great thread Keep it going please.
Great Photos everyone.
Keep them coming.
This post-war Hudson (736 if I remember right) was handed down to me from my Uncle Walter and cousin Walter Gerard, both deceased now. I always think that's my Aunt Kitty and Uncle Walter sitting there in Railfan Park.
(If you have any rheumatology problem in the last 20 years, you probably benefited from my cousin's work--he grew up to be one of the best research and practicing rheumatologists in the country. He passed away a few years ago at age 59 after contracting a disease while on a Doctors Without Borders mission in Central America. Toot your train's whistle for Walter Gerard sometime.)
This was my first experiment with lighting. I still have some work to do, but it is still one of my favorites:
I love using the oversized figures
