Please watch at least a portion of this video.  It's a modular train show in the UK (running coarse scale tinplate). What are the black metal 'braces' under the tracks holding these loops securely spaced & together?  Are they readily available?  What are they called?  Will they work on Lionel tubular tracks?  Thanks.

Roland,

I'm sure that there will be more who will appreciate your efforts. I have noticed more and more of the late prewar Hornby becoming available. I hope you hit pay-dirt on this one.

Okay guys,

the gentleman who manufactures the replica Hornby Double track is :

Alan Middleton
26 Minchinbury Drive
Vermont, Victoria 3133
Australia.

He lists 20", 24"27"31"34"36"54" & 56" Radius double curves.(so think 040 up to 0112!)
He has double straights in three lengths as well.
Both are made in clockwork and electric so specify what you want.
It looks like 12 pieces to a circle except the two largest sizes which are 24@ circle.

There is no email so you will have to write him for prices and shipping.

I would figure between $14 and $19 per section for electric.

I have no idea on the shipping

Roland

Pete,

It's members like Roland that help make, "The OGR Online Forum" what it is today. From what I observe in reviewing the other online forums. This forum and the members on it are a cut above the rest.

Prewar Hornby also made 0 gauge  turnouts that they called Parallel Points, These  enabled single track to join to double track.  They were a diverging switch that curved with S bends to form two tracks.   As well as that they made fully diverging turnouts.  Made in both two rail for clockwork and 3 rail for electrics.    Sometimes these  come up on eBay.   My Youtube video on my Zeppelin shows the parallel points (Or switches if you prefer).  Look under tintracks for the video.
