This is off my PS2 Daylight Steamer. Needs to be replaced. Is there a part number and where are the best places to order from? 10 Pin Wire Harness ..... well right now it's functioning as a 9 pin wire harness 
If I didnt mention it before, trying to locate anything on the MTH website is a royal pain in the rear. What ever tech-geeks they hired to design that thing really suck at site design.

That is a common tether cord.

Ted, Is it 10 inches long? The universal version is BC-00000217. 10in long and the wires are enclosed plug to plug. Angle to straight plug.
I have one in stock if you need it? This is preventing the smoke I assume:-) G

After a process of elimination.... I am down to this. 
I tested the continuity on that cable a dozen times and still have a hard time understanding what would make one of the ten leads go bad.
It is Straight to Angle and about 10 inches long.
The wires normally go bad right at the connector, flexing gradually breaks them.
