If you count dummies, I have 6.
You both putting a hurt on me.
I have 3 plus all the matching cars for each of them.
I kinda sorta vectored to Steam recently. Won't stay that way. I do like the Heritage engines.

Wrong answer!
I messed up. I only answered about SD 70 ACe units????? Back to the drawing board....to much interest in football game
I'm trying to get all of them. I thought that MTH and Lionel would catalog them for a couple of years but they didn't. I had my dealer order all of them for me. I've been getting them as my money allows!!.............rogerw.
I have a bunch. I have:
Lionel:
Lehigh Valley
Penn Central
Conrail
Pennsylvania
Central of Georgia
MTH:
Illinois Terminal
Jersey Central
Reading
All of them are the correct road numbers.
I have:
All Powered:
Southern
Norfolk & Western
Savannah & Atlanta
Wabash
Central of Georgia
Non-Powered:
Norfolk-Southern
Interstate
Lehigh Valley
Lackawanna
Jersey Central Lines
Reading
......................rogerw.
NONE! And I don't forsee any in the near future either.
All of mine are MTH Premier. The last 5 are nonpowered.
Lackawanna
Interstate
Original Norfolk Southern
Pennsylvania
Lehigh Valley
Central of Georgia
Norfolk & Western
Nickel Plate Road
Conrail
Southern
Monongahela
I remembered I do have one Lionel, Norfolk & Western, which is non-powered. I had pre-ordered it before MTH made the announcement that they would also be offering non-powered versions.

Well I ended up only purchasing the Lionel NKP.
I can run it with my Lionel 765.
Now I originally intended to get all 20. But MTH, Mike Wolf, decided not to tool for the phase of the GE ES44's as used for the NS Heritage units. I was going to buy 10-powered and 10 non-powered. One thing about the MTH non-powered in fact were numbered correctly whereas the Lionel non-powered had fictitious numbering. But again the ES44's were not modeled correct. So thought I would at least get the MTH "Savannah & Atlanta" to run with my NS OCS. But MTH could NOT get the paint correct.
OH, a down side of the Lionel units, no long hood ditch-lights!
So bottom line MTH did save me a whole lot of money! So some of the saving went for two Lionel High-Nose GP30's.

2. MTH N&W and Virginian.
One - Southern Powered Love it but probably won't get another unless it is a great bargain!
I would really like to get the Reading in Premier 2-rail. I wish i had pre-ordered...
I have the Pennsylvsnia 5 Stripe Dark Green SD70 Ace, New/tested only..If anyone is interested in it, send mean an email....(Llevin64@yahoo.com)....Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone....I Have the Lionel Legacy Version....
RogerW,
I have three all Lionel Legacy all SD70Ace. Two are pre NS actual heritage engines, both are PRR one Dark Green the other Tuscan. One is the Virginian which was the first heritage engine I saw in person and fell in love with. I use all three to pull my intermodal train which is the only modern train I run at the club. The rest of my trains are all steam/early diesel all PRR.

I have five MTH SD70Aces, no NS Heritage units yet, but it would be MTH. Realistic engine sounds, semi gloss paint and the front coupler doesn't stick out like a battering ram as on the Lionel engines.
Please guys, let's not get into a MTH vs. Lionel debate!!! I just wanted to know who is still actively purchasing these engines. Thanks!!!.................rogerw.
I have all MTH Non-Powered units and currently have 15, still looking for the remaining 5 in non-powered only.
Still looking for:
Wabash
Interstate
New York Central
Illinois Terminal
Erie
Lionel Wabash power & dummy, power in N&W, Southern, Norfolk Southern, Illinois Terminal
Would like to own the Lehigh Valley and Nickel Plate some day.
Monongahela (Premier)
Wabash (Premier)
Pennsylvania (RK )
Nickel Plate (RK. Hidden. Will be under the tree for my son this year)
I've been working on a trade to get the N&W Railking version.
Lionel Norfolk Southern PRR Heritage SD70 ACE
Lionel Norfolk Southern Southern Railway Heritage SD-70ACE Diesel Locomotive
I forgot to mention that all of my NS Heritage engines are MTH-Premier.............rogerw.
Paul,
Once you see the Linel units you might change your mind
None! Although I've got a Railking Imperial CSX ES44, I find that Pennsy ES44 RK Imperial unit on my LHS's shelf quite a pretty loco! The real one was just as pretty when I rode behind it (and 765) several years ago.
Power: SOU, LV
Dummy: WAB, S&A, IS, CofG
All Premier. These are the only modern engines I own. Everything else is 2nd gen diesels or earlier.
Hey Mike, Did you get my emails??..............rogerw.
i have Lionel's Conrail and Pennsylvania. My first 2 engine purchases. And if it counts MTH SD70ace Norfolk southern with road number 1030
Hey Mike, Did you get my emails??..............rogerw.
I got the one about the Christmas party. I will be there.
I have 3 of Lionel's powered/non-powered pairs. PRR, Southern, and Lehigh Valley.
Bill
MTH Conrail and the NKP.
First one, I have a fair amount of CR. The second, I thought I'd run it with my NKP 779 (I swung-and-miss-ed twice trying to get a 765--the first time I got the 759 in brass)

Zero. After the hoops I went through getting just the UP Heritage set I didn't even want to deal with the NS heritage. The only road I was really interested in was Pennsylvania and I figure I can live vicariously through Pignatelli.
MTH Pennsylvania and Nickel Plate Road Premier. I'm looking to pick up a few more.

Insofar I only have Lionel Heritage Units, but I've actively been looking for MTH also, since I cannot find the two roads I have been looking to add to my roster. I'd like all 20, but I don't have the funds to pull off such a purchase. I've thought about buying them in HO if I can find em all, with the correct Road Numbers and also building an HO Model of the Spencer Roundhouse, since HO is considerably cheaper than O Scale. :-)
Current NS Heritage Locos:
8099 Southern
8100 NKP
8102 PRR
8103 N&W
Been on the prowl since release for:
8098 Conrail
8101 Central of Georgia
