I have done multiple searches trying to get this answered. I am including a screen print that shows that there is no checkbox or option to change the time zone in my personal settings.
How do I change it back to Eastern?
I feel like a klutz but I just can't find a way to do it.

There is no direct setting for the time zone. I suspect it's based on your address or perhaps whatever the computer is set to.
My MAC had an update that changed the time zones and I had to change it back to the correct time sone
This is a setting within your computer, not something you set here on the forum.
If your time zone is wrong in your computer your battery in computer needs to be replaced!
and then correct time zone after battery is replaced!

walt rapp, if you have a VPN on your Antiviris on your computer to disguise your actual location for security, it may very well show you in a different time zone location. Change the location to somewhere in your time zone.
A minor point…The server that hosts this forum is in Seattle, which is on Pacific Standard Time.
However, I want to remind you that this is a setting on your computer, not something you set here on this forum. That same forum screen on my devices shows Eastern Time, because that’s what is set in the device’s settings.
If you are using a Windows based computer, find Settings in your Start Menu and open it. Then click on "Time and Language" and you should be able to find your region (US Eastern Time Zone) there. Just click on it and your computer will comply.

thanks for the answers. I was going batty trying to change it! The only reason that I THINK i cared is if it somehow mattered to things here on the forum
