The R4LC outputs half-wave track power in command mode and full-wave track power in conventional mode.
You will need a couple of things. First off, you'll want a diode and a 470 ohm resistor in series with the LED to make it compatible with the voltage output from the R4LC.
Next, you'll need to connect a .01uf ceramic capacitor across the lighting outputs of the R4LC to ground. This is needed for non resistive loads to trigger the light control triac. I typically solder these caps right across the R4LC connector pins on the motherboard.
