Myself, I'm pretty satisfied with my collection of 3-rail trains. I've got most of what I wanted.
I experimented with setting up outdoors, a little while ago, and I really enjoyed the colorful, natural, much larger environment. That's a good fit for my tastes.
I decided to try out more scale wheels models from MTH's Premier line. I pre-ordered three Premier models: a CNW Dash 9-44CW, a CP Tain Master and a Taurus 3 ES-64-U4. This Thursday, I should be receiving the scale wheels CNW Dash 9-44CW, two Atlas O(Master) BNSF Trinity Hoppers and a MTH Premier Grain Hopper; plus an extra MTH cord that connects my TMCC with my DCS system(I like having a backup cord).
Currently, I don't have much of an indoor setup, but enough for a bit of operational action. My train times usually takes place around 3:30 pm... for an hour or so. I like running power teams. Right now, I have 3 teams of two, fielded: a CN ES44DC and a SD70M-2; a CSX ES44DC and a Dash 8-40C and a PRR GP35 and a P&LEU28B.
Cheers,
Rick
