Over spring break i took a nostalga trip and watched i love toy trains clips on youtube
One thing i always loved is the vintage train station announcements through out the films
but where do they come from? are they MTH PFA sound bytes? Williams?
etc
i'm asking because i want my trains to sound like that?

i'm mainly talking about the first 3 episodes but especially the episodes from the 90s
Most of the station announcements in parts 1-3 are from the American Flyer talking station recordings and American Flyer's sound effects records from the 50's.

is there an mp3 download station for those sounds where i can use them for videos like youtube?
In other videos there is the defunct Roanoke sound system which was a control box with several different sound effects and choices. You connected two speakers to the box and plug the unit with a wall wart into the wall and you have instant sounds of various horns & whistles, station announcements, dopplar sound effects of diesel/steam trains arriving or departing, and a newsie hawking his papers.
