Strange dumbbells who "tag" cars like this. They think they have achieved some type of immortality. Who knows who the fool who did this is.....and will his "love interest" ever see it?
Of greater import to me is the wonderful reappearance of the CMO identifier......for the old Chicago, St Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha, a Chicago & North Western subsidiary, which vanished about 1959. A wonderful road, which stabled the world's largest 4-6-2's.
Maybe the artist was refering to the cmo> Yes the hudge 4-6-2;s were quite a site to see. I recall them when I was a very young kid when in the St Paul depot. They had about 63,000 lbs tractive force when the booster was engaged. My dad told me they broke them in when new on freight trains.
