I have a beautiful MTH Premier 20-3036-1 Norfolk & Western 2-6-6-4 with tender.  This is a PS-1 and I have a BCR in it.  Yesterday it was running normal and then just stopped.  The light and smoke continued to work but I couldn't get it to move.  I tried resetting with my z-4000 but could not get the clank clink sound.  It seems to me that the circuit board is dead.  Anyone agree or hopefully have another method to get things rolling? I love this engine and I hate to relegate it to a wall display.

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum so not sure if this is the right spot to post this. Bu. My young Son and imare trying to get our Pennsylvania 6-8-6 turbine steam passenger R-t-R with Proto Sound 2 running.

It started experiencing trouble and we tried trouble shooting it with a new battery pack. It helped, but then a while later it just stopped working altogether.

Can someone help with some troubleshooting tips? It has power, the IR is responding to the remote control, but the train just doesn't respond a t all.

Any nyt advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Jay: Welcome!  Although, I can't help with your actual problem... you may get a faster/better answer if you cut & paste your question into a separate, new posting. That way, folks will see your question specifically.  (To do that, just click the box in the upper right corner of the O gauge Forum home page that says "Post New Topic.")  Good luck!  You & your son will enjoy the train once you get the kinks ironed out, I'm sure.   Originally Posted by JayR:
