I never would have imagined, as a young kid rolling a Post War era hopper around a loop of track on my basement floor, that I would have a Lionel O Gauge locomotive with my name on it.

Thank you Dad for starting me in this hobby, my family for putting up with my late nights of making videos, Trainworld for taking a chance on this project, Lionel for building this train and my audience for supporting my little corner of YouTube.

I am speechless that this happened and grateful for this community of hobbyists.

Chris- that's a beautiful engine. Not the period I model, but I can appreciate beauty when I see it.

A big shout out to Ken and Trainworld too. I've been shopping there since my dad took me to the Lynbrook store shortly after they opened. A great store with great people.
Thank you for your enthusiasm for the hobby and the time you dedicate to your layout and Youtube channel.

Keep it up. All of us old(er) farts need more guys like you to keep the hobby going.

Bob

@RSJB18 Thanks Bob! You were one of the very first people on here to give me encouragement when I first posted images of the layout. Appreciate you!

Thank you @Tuscan Jim! The layouts keep us busy

@luvindemtrains, thank you Dave! One day I hope to have the patience an attention to detail that I have seen in your videos where you show us your scenery work.

@stangtrain I think the Pet Shop Express has more runtime than any of my other trains, haha! I think Norm wanted to keep it so he could customize it. I bet those visits with your grand daughter are something special!

@Brooklyn Corey, thank you friend! Will I see you at York this Fall?

Chris,

My wife and I Yes, I said Wife, LOL both enjoy your videos!!! They are put together by you very well. We always look forward to your latest one!! I also bought your ES44 and like it very much. Red is my favorite color, and the Katy is also one of my favorite road names along with many others, (unfortunately for the wallet) Keep up the great work.

Jeff

Chris, you continue to inspire us and your special run is well deserved. We are working on our new trainboard and posting to our new youtube channel, learning photography, video editing, sound equipment, and lighting. We watch every new video you create. So thankful for you guys--Rj, country bunker, seans trains, Norm C, Markulin, Boomer Dioramas, Mouldly rasberry. Much success and much happiness sent to all of you. Perhaps someday we can share our work and share the fun in a like manner. Ryan and Gary.

Even though the colors didn't exactly match what was initially published by Lionel, this engine still looks great! It would have been over the top if they could have had Chris custom record some of the Tower Com and/or Crew Talk, I'm sure it would have been an instant sell-out!

Excellent job by Chris, Lionel & Trainworld!!

@H1000, Chris doing crew talk, what would that be like? (Poses like Chris considering the possibilities). Is that even a thing? That is I mean posing like Chris maybe grabbing scruff on chin or looking to upper left while talking about it. Yeah, that would be very interesting indeed. Heck, I would probably consider buying one if Chris did the crew talk.
