Got notice from trainworld that these arrived from China. I have it set to MTH mode. Fired it up today. Power light, Wifi light. No track light. Opened iPad, clicked Add Engine, reading...., nothing. No error, no message, just nothing. Track light is lit up now. Purple (lavender?). Voltmeter, no power on track measuring the center rail and one of the outer rails. 0 - ZERO volts. I have the latest version of app, I have the latest iOS. Tried app reset, checked fuse, power cycled the DCS Explorer, used the RESET button on the DCS Explorer. Nothing nothing nothing worked. I have a PS3 GP-20 on the rails. Followed the instruction manual to access LUCI to see the firmware version. It's v1.3 r5105-e1d7384 which is odd since the latest version available for download at mthtrains.com is version 1.20, not sure what to try next. Anyone else get one recently now that they're available again? Thanks everyone

Measure the voltage output directly from the explorer when the track light is green.

H1000 the track light does not illuminate Green. Not sure it can.
Marty. Yes, it is set for DCS Explorer.
I think I'm gonna have to contact MTH. Hope they respond promptly
One variable to consider is the power supply. Unless you are using the one provided with MTH sets that contain an Explorer, the power supply has to mirror the voltage/amperage and plug used for the Explorer power supply. MTH also recommends use of the Z1000 if I recall correctly.
Did you try hitting the refresh button on top left of screen?

When track power is live the Track light is Red. I use a Z-1000 brick to power mine.

Yes my mistake. The track indicater can only be red. It has three states:
Unlit - OFF (no power output)
Blinking - short circuit or e-stop (no power output)
Steady on - power applied to the output
Now that I'm back to my workbench I shot a short video of exactly how the Explorer boots up and the condition of the track light in different situations. Note the Track light changes from steady RED (no track power) to PURPLE (track power applied) once the "READ" action is performed and an "E-STOP" only makes the light blink RED for a short while:

Also, note that the firmware revision is listed on the LuCI login homepage of the device. The device below has the most current version of the Firmware available from the MTH Website:
I'd assume the latest versions of the Explorer have the same firmware.
