I purchased the Conrail executive train set, and noticed that car 8 does not have painted aluminum window frames. The other cars in the set do, as do all of the Pennsy 21" cars that I bought. If any forum participants bought the CR set, could you look at your set and see if your car number 8 has painted window frames or not. I've attached a photo which will illustrate what I'm talking about. Thanks to anyone who can help.

FWIW, the prototype photos of car 8 don't have bright aluminum window trim. Seem to be painted to match the color of the passenger car.
Any more photos of the set?

Here is a photo of the set. Frank, thanks for the feedback. I rode on the executive train once, and I think the Lionel set is a nice model of the prototype. One of the cars has a short in the lighting circuit. Back to Lionel

The Real conrail #8 has NO window frames. IMHO this is the look Lionel was trying to Achieve!
