Just purchased a Meyer & Dale Groceries two story building. Dismantled the roof to look at lighting. If necessary how does one replace bulb? It is an elongated bulb (about half-inch long). Pull it out or unscrew it? Also wire goes from bulb socket to a small circuit board from which wire extends for power connection. Which makes me wonder per chance if the bulbs are LED? What would be the safe voltage for these lights? and the supplied wire's gauge? I also have an MTH switch tower(definitely a screw in type) and the one story PAPA'S billiards structure (same bulb as the Meyer & Dale crocery store). I haven't connected any of these to accessory power yet. Not until I have a layout on a bench/table. Your input is appreciated.

          Thanks, Fred

I dont have that specific building. Usually they are 18 volt bulbs that pull out. I am puzzled by the circuit board unless it runs an animated sign. Rather than bulb replacement,I convert all my buildings to LED lighting. The LEDs should not need replacement and save power.

I make LED strips as shown here. In buildings there is no need for the capacitor.

The rolls of prewired LED strips are also useful.
