The toy vs model topic thread made me think about this video I'm sure you've seen.

Apparently, a Dad and Son made this video from an unused Bud Light "Men of Genius" series soundtrack.

Do you feel insulted by it? Or, does it crack you up? Or, kinda both?

For sure .... I'm not trying to offend anyone here.

Guys,

Sometimes we see ourselves too seriously! This commercial is spot on! It captures the hobby and the infinite intricacies of our hobby...Someone said it best when he said the only thing worse than being made fun of is to be ignored! With all of the strange things happening recently in the news at least we still fit in the picture.

I was quite happy to be thought of by a major beer advertiser, we are still on someones radar!

Ohhh!  Good!  Now we are going to have a flame war about what is beer and what isn't.

I haven't seen that video for a while and I forgot how funny it was.  Thanks for posting it again.  And thanks for the video of the layout.  Both were very enjoyable.

And, as for the questions of toys vs models and beer vs beer, I'd give them a definite maybe.

Are you guys talking about the Parody done by the guy and his son. Or is there also a real Commercial out there. Why would this be insulting. It is a real train guy having/ making fun of a Budweiser commercial. That is what parade is. Seeing the humor in things that are pretending to be serious when they are not. The Bud commercial, not the trains. I think this guy is serious about his hobby and enjoying it at the same time. Hilarious and well done.

My oh my I remember my first Guinness even though it was about what 28 years ago.

A friend invited to go to Murphy's Pub in Champaign, one of the few places that actually followed the 21 year old law in the time. He said, "Would you like to try a pitcher of Guinness", and I said sure, and I was amazed that you couldn't see through it. LOL LOL LOL!

It took me a few more years to pound it in my head that if I was going to go through the cost, effort, and liability of drinking, I should at least enjoy it with good beer, or, have a glass of water if I couldn't afford it.

Not that there's much difference between InBev Light and water.
