I just got a brand new set of G gauge F7's in NP. #70-2042-1.
I don't see any soft key to shut off the interior light like other soundsets have? Could they have forgot?

They may be wired on the same circuit as either the marker or number board lights.
Thanks Barry. I thought it might be so I'm trying them all. There's a mars light, number boards (labeled different soft key), etc. Nothing turns off the interior light?
It's possible the interior light is connected to track voltage, though that isn't the norm.
I have never seen the Cab Light on track power in a PS-2 Diesel engine. Only in RDC type trains where the passenger area was on track power. Not to say it isn't possible, but does it come on when track power is applied, or does it come on when engine is started via DCS? What I have seen is sound files that don't have the appropriate soft keys activated to control those functions. If the interior light is wired onto the (12 pin interior light pin) you should have control. Asking MTH to update the sound file, or choosing a different sound file with the feature activated. G
I'll have to go check again when I get time. I'm pretty positive:
There's no control for the interior light.
it comes on when the engine is started up.
I have to check every soft key? Nothing for lighting works this interior light.
The markers, number boards, and mars light have a key.
