Now I have two MTH engines that when I put them on the fastrack they just start up with the cab sounds, but remote just shows not on track, could it be possible my remote is shot. Sonny

Fastrack has nothing to do with the engine operation. The remote is fine, it's just showing what is sensed by the TIU. What happens if you try to add them to the remote again?
John,
Don't you think that since sonny said that they start up with cab sounds, apparently all on their own, they are not receiving the initial watchdog signal OR the DCS signal is not present on the track at all????

Well, it could be either Walt. I made a leap of faith that the TIU was connected to the track.
I think more info is needed on the sequence that Sonny is using.
I think you're right.
You men are right when you say you need more sequence. Now just what is sequence? Sonny
A very good question. What we mean is the order in which you are doing things and what you do that leads up to the start of the sounds and any symptoms you get. Transformer settings, buttons pressed, etc.
RJR; OK will get too what you said, then maybe if I did it right you men can help me as you always do. SONNY
