That's completely as expected.

In normal TIU mode, a TIU only sees those engines which were associated with it when they were added.

In other words, if you add an engine while it's on a track connected to TIU #2, when TIU #1 is in Super TIU mode, it will find the engine. However, when TIU #1 is in normal TIU mode it will not find the engine.

This and a whole lot more is all in "The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", now available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book from MTH's web store site! Click on the link below to go to MTH's web page for the book!

The weird thing is, the TIU that I set it up in won't find it when that TIU is set for Super TIU.  If I set it to normal, find the train, then switch to Super TIU it is OK until I shut it down. The next time out it says Train not on track.  As soon as I switch to Normal it finds it without a problem. I've even tried no power to the other TIU or having power to it, placing in or out of Super TIU and it still is the same results.  It always seems to be with the upgraded units not the store bought which makes no sense to me at all unless I'm doing something stupid (strong possibility there!).

Thanks for your advice and help.  I do have your book (it's becoming my bible on DCS)and am planning on re-reading the section on Super TIU to see if I can come up with anything I've done wrong.
