IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your railroad's team track photos here!   Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Freight cars of most all types can be loaded and unloaded on team tracks.  Even some passenger train head end equipment can be unloaded/loaded on team tracks.... MOW equipment too.   Team tracks are found in all sort of settings from rural to big cities.

Last week's TTT had a wide range of team track photos.  Everything from meticulously detailed scenes to a fantasy story which included use of a team track.  Great fun!!   Remember this thread is to inspire our creativity in whatever way that may be.  Our imaginations are limitless!  So, share you creative team track photos here and join the fun!!

This week on the Free State Junction Railway team track (s) we have piggy back trailer off loading operations.  There are several railroads represented,  Union Pacific, NYC, B&O, and Pennsylvania.  Click on photos at bottom for captions. Have a fun, imaginative, and creative week!!IMG_2449IMG_2438IMG_2457IMG_2455IMG_2462IMG_2464IMG_2465IMG_2469IMG_2470IMG_2473IMG_2480IMG_2486IMG_2480IMG_2477IMG_2487IMG_2488IMG_2492IMG_2490IMG_2496IMG_2498IMG_2504IMG_2509IMG_2510IMG_2515IMG_2517

It's good to see operations on the Free State Junction Railway are moving along smoothly as usual.

Here in the Valley, trouble is brewing (as usual). Using borrowed power from the Akron Terminal, the Valley Railway's morning crew was scheduled to make a delivery to the Everett Team Track. Unfortunately, due to a minor grammatical mix-up, that delivery has been delayed.

Apparently, the consitently 0-10 Valley High School Rangers football team arrived before the morning train and is insisting that train tracks are for trains, and team tracks are for teams. They refuse to leave until practice is over.

team10

Because there's nothing in the rule book to deal with a situation like this, the switching crew is just watching in disbelief.

team9

Of course, the old timers have gathered to lament the failures of today's youth.

As for the delivery, it will just have to wait.

Patrick, Love the trailer unloading, very  cool!

Thomas, That football team is asking for trouble. The fiercest linebacker is no match for a piece of rolling stock...Great scene BTW

...And this week, with Baseball's first pitch only a few days away, people are stocking up on their favorite summer beverage, after all It's the "Real thing"...

Great story there Thomas!!  I wonder what the score of that scrimmage game will be .... freight car 1 team 0?   That team better have one heck of a defensive line   LOL!

Look's like Mark Dif's team track billboard reffer load will be able supply the fans ( in this case the switch crew ) lots of Coca Cola as they watch the game

All we need now are some photos of a Oscar Meyer Weiner billboard reffer being unloaded on a team track so hot dogs may be served in addition to the Coca Cola.

The team is gone for the day and things have returned to normal on the team track.

They may be offloading trucks filled with tires from LA on Patrick's Free State Junction, but not here in the Valley! We're unloading nothing but the finest rubber to hit the road - Tires made right here in the Rubber Capital of the World, Akron, Ohio!

Last week the RSJ&B had some visitors drop in to help out on the team tracks. Unfortunately their motives were less than honorable. So while 8506 was spotting some cars the locals called in some "Super" help to run the troublemakers out of our galaxy.

Unfortunately a couple of stowaways were left behind........

Also the Help Wanted ad has finally been answered. The job posting was seen by a couple of work crews on-line and they have agreed to take the positions.  They are currently traveling to town via USPS and will  get to work as soon as they clear background and drug tests.

Great posts this week everyone. We Jets fans can sympathize with the Valley High fans.

Rsjb18, you've got a lot of action going on around and above you team track. That looks like a fun layout. I really like way your team track is lit. Maybe some lights will have to go on my team track, for night time loading and unloading.

Thanks Mark Diff. The LED'S are scratch built from Model power. Here are some photos of how I made them.

1. Work crew loading the Boxcar.

2. Delivery guy with the handtruck delivering Coca-Cola to Boyd's Billiards and Annie's ice cream.

3. A robber just robbed the barber shop and is getting arrested by the cop.

4.  The Wells Fargo stagecoach was a gift from The mayor of Railtown Frank Rounds to the mayor of Lesserton Josef Lesser for a potential museum about the Wells Fargo company.

Very nice team track scene Tim!!  Anywhere the public  can have access to unloading certainly qualifies as a team track.  You team track is certainly wonderfully unique!  You definitely have alot of action going on simultaneously!

I agree with Mark - your backdrop really adds a great dimension of depth to you layout!  Bravo!!   I hope we'll see more of your team track scenes in the future here on Team Track Tuesday!!
