'Twas the night before the 18th, and all through the house. You know the rest.

Visions of sugarplums carom off the synapses of my mind. Not one, but two S Gauge catalogs. I can hardly contain myself.

Oh spirit of catalogs future, I'm imagining MTH will be heavy on the F Units. Oh please let there be Soo Line, Milwaukee Road, and Chicago Great Western. Any other surprises would be icing on the cake. Erie Triplex? MTH made a lot of them in different sizes.

And to Lionel; you guys have been doing a great job separating me from my money. Carry on! There's more where that came from. An Allegheny would be swell.

I feel like calling in sick tomorrow so I could sit around in a smoking jacket and peruse the online catalogs.

But off to work I go. I'll need the money to pay for all this. Besides, I don't have a smoking jacket.

Heh heh, I did end up calling in sick to work. So I really can view the catalogs as they come on line.

Because here in Northern Illinois, we are getting record rainfall. The expressways are flooded and commuter rail is having problems as well. I got tons of sick time banked at work, so I'll just burn 8 hours, and wallow in anticipated S Gauge goodness.
