Jack Collier's Toys for Men Hobby Shop in Oakland , CA offers this O scale GG1 as a kit in 1945-6. Cast bronze ..double motor ..did not quite get the nose contour right ..oh well we are all unique .
Anyone know anything else about it ? ..yes it is heavy.

This casting is quite a bit different than all other cast GG1's ...Alexander, Baldwin/ Walthers, Duddy

Not to turn a perfectly good GG1 thread into a PA thread, but I had done one the week before for a buddy - his needed some serious straightening out and new sides/fuel tanks, which I somehow had in stock.  This one was soldered with propane; the one above was done with MAPP gas.  Difference in time - it takes twice as long to heat up to soldering temp with propane.
