I had an email discussion with Jim just yesterday and he posted to a thread today. Sounded fine to me.
Frank
Thanks for letting me know, Popsrr just said he heard from him also.

Jim posted yesterday--I assume he's just fine. He has been a busy fellow recently...actually, he's a busy fellow all the time. Here's the date/time of his most recent forum visit:
Last Visit: January 27, 2013 at 9:47 PM
He and his lovely and understanding wife Pat shared the flu bug this last week and he is working at Mohawk Valley RR Train store working for trains a few days a week (He has come to the dark side and now has Legacy! Yeaaaa! He is alive and kicking and still looking down at the Grass!
Always good to look down at the grass. Not so good for undertakers, but what the heck.
Gerry
Thanks for the concern, everyone.
As Don (who of all people would know what side of the grass I was on ) said, I've been putting quite a few hours in at the local train shop during the mid-winter rush - almost like coming out of retirement and "working" again, but more fun.
Here's a photo of a recent hard day at the office when we rented a U-Haul to pick up a train collection the store had just purchased from an individual. Nothing like being surrounded by "work"!
We actually needed my pickup also to complete the job, so the shelves at the store are well-stocked!
As Don mentioned, my railroad has profited immensely from my efforts at the shop (photos and articles to follow!)

Good to hear. We missed you at Trainstock and the Big E.
Lots of purple boxes in that truck.
Jim,
I'm glad all is well with you, I see how busy you are from the photo's above. Now that's the kinda busy we all love. . I also wanted to thank you for the help with the water wheel,I posted some photo's of it on Sunday scenic showcase two weeks ago.
But here's a few photo's of it, still needs more weathering and there will be a motor hooked up to it.
Alex
Jim, I had asked Don about you at the Big E and knew you and your wife had the bug. Tough year for that. When Don said looking down at the grass and I got to post right after him, I just couldn't resist the undertaker comment.
