I use plain 3mm warm white LED's and sometimes I use them that are more amber. Most of the time I use 3mm flangeless LED's. The MARS light is just a red LED mated with the ngineering.com MARS Simulator. Specifically, I normally use the N8031. It requires a pure DC supply, so I add a small DC module that runs from the headlight power.
The color changing bulb is just one of the slowly color changing bulbs, I buy them on eBay or Aliexpress.
