Tarting up a Bowser-Brill 2 rail trolley, now wired to work off overhead wire. Changing poles will change the direction and the lighting when I am done.....Q Car Parts and a Dremel made it possible....

That's cool
Looks good on those brick streets!!
...and give those old stamped brass trolleys that appear from time to time on e-bay a second look; it's easy to pass them by because of lack of detail but they can be spruced up with paint, parts, archer rivets....

More on the real Corry and Columbus in Springkirths Greater Erie Trolleys.Interesting little Toonerville.
I highly recommend any of Ken's books, we've chatted a lot at Lake Shore Railway Museum. He was one of my influences to get me into traction modeling.
One of the first trolley books I had many moons ago was one he published before he went west.It was a hectographed copy on the Buffalo and Lake Erie.I wonder what happened to it?Maybe I am just having a senior moment.Didn't this father work for the B&LE?If you are interested in the B&LE I have a paper I put together on the B&LE/B&E

I really like how the yellow and white surfaces jump out in the top 2 pictures.
Can you share what you used for the brick covered streets? They are quite unique.

It is a printed paper brick that I found on e-bay, Scenery Sheets by John Bull Trains
One very nice thing about them is that they make it easy to remove dust and cat hair from the layout
Very nice!...sadly I have to pass on those as they all run 2 rail and I run 3 rail...just can't seem to find traction trucks in 3.
Like others said, definitely looks sharp with the Brick streets.
post a video
Really nice. At the WGH show in Oaks, PA a few weeks ago, some of the modular layout trolley's had opening doors when the cars stopped. I would love to see how that circuit works and/or executed within the trolley!
