Take the screws out of the motor mount, and get some oil on those shaft bearings. Both sides. While you’re there, shoot some grease into the gear well. ….see if that shuts it up,….if not, the motor might be toast,….
Added oil to both bearings and cleaned out the old grease and put fresh grease in, seems better but still has a little squeak at very low speed, where it has never ran well owing to the little 385 motor.
I know the Hudson has the small Pitmann upgrade, though mine does fine with the stock motor and 7 heavyweights for a couple hours, maybe the Mike just got a crappy motor, who knows…
