I have a K-LINE K3470-1295CC #1295 NYC 466T Tank Engine. I'm trying to run it on my small layout in conventional mode. All the sounds, smoke and couplers work but it won't go into forward or reverse. The guy I got it from was running it with a DCS system. I don't have a TMCC or DCS system anymore. Does anybody have any ideas to get it to move?

This is a known symptom of configuration of the K-Line cruise module used in these systems. I believe it has to be reconfigured in command mode with a TMCC/Legacy system. Here is one of several sets of reset instructions for the K-Line cruise. Note the last sentence!
Engine 99, then set, then eng 1 (or whatever you want you final ID to be) then set;
then Aux1; next, this is important, 7,4. The 7 tells it that it has cruise and the 4 is
Lionel’s code for steam with puffing smoke. A good check for you to see if you have
cruise is after you have done the reset I mentioned, turn track voltage off, pull
command base plug, now using the variable speed control, speed up, and if it takes
a period of time for it to start running, and when it does move, it moves super
slow, you have cruise; if it takes off normally, you do not have cruise. This is where
the 7 comes in. If the R2LC is not told it has cruise, it will not run in non command.
It will do everything but move.
I don't have a TMCC system anymore so I would be running it in conv. mode. I guess there is nothing I can do with just my transformer.
I don't know how you'd reset it in conventional, best to find someone with TMCC and try it there.
OK thanks
