k-line rs3 volume control pot location?

Hi GUYZ,

I had just bought a K-line RS3 with TMCC from a fellow formite here on the FS boards. Great engine runs great but no sound. I did a switch with the sound board from another Lionel diesel engine and both work in the other (Lionel ) engine. I did a continuity test on the speaker and that works. I cannot find the volume pot to do a continuity check there. There is something on the end that might look like it but looks like something is broken off? I do not have an owners manual and it is not marked. Can anyone please tell me where it is? Thanks in advance.
