Alex, nice build. I've been waiting for this one to hit the lineup after seeing some pictures a while back. Looking to add more industries to the layout and this one should fit nicely in the spot I have in mind. Looking to combine 2 of them.
Did any extra part(s) need to be fabricated to make this structure or are all provided with said kit?
Was this one once released by Pecos River? I think I might have that version in my kit stack.
I like your format of it. Because my layout space is quite tight something like this might also work for me.
Nice! I have been waiting... For a structure like you... To come into my life... Yea waiting...
Yes Alex, this confirms where I will be headed and picking up a kit. Can you share with us the brick color and the type of paint you used?
Nice job. I have the power light office building that is molded in color, it will need to be painted. but I am having problems deciding what colors the bricks should be. Color is everything.
Dave, This structure will look great on your layout, as any structure would !!!
Gene, everything is included to complete the kit, the Masonite you see i add for extra strength. I tend to over build.
Silver Lake, I'm fairly sure this is a new design by Rich from Korber, i don't think Pecos had this in their line up.
Prrhorseshoecurve, yes it's finally here !!!
John, The brick color is Rust-o-leum Rusty metal primer, i use this color for most of my brick. For the General Light and power i also use this color. See you at York .
FOOTPRINT 23 1/2 WIDE, 6 3/4 DEEP, 18 1/2 HIGH
Thanks, Alex
Alex, nice work! I got this kit for Christmas from my lovely wife and can't wait to get started on it.
Did you add the hole in the column for the dowel rod or was that the way it came? Looks like that is a great idea for added rigidity.

Hi Pete, thanks. I added the hole in the column, i use to be a carpenter so i always over build lol!!!! It made the column much much stronger.
Thanks, alex
Great idea!! I'm going to borrow that technique as soon as I get mine out of the box. That's a nice solution as opposed to the dowel rod losing its adhesion to the plastic. I'm always learning cool stuff by following your builds!! Thanks!
Very cool and a great build !
When will this be for sale on Korber's website? I didn't see it on there.
Alex, over build is good IMO, nice work!
is it available as a complete, free-standing building? I'm out of open wall space, but probably could find a bit of "real estate" adjacent to a track, somewhere. I always wanted someone to offer a "modular" building that could be built according to a person's needs. That space open under the 2nd floor; Would that be tall enough to accommodate a siding under there? That would help keep the square footage a bit less than otherwise. Got to check with Korber next week.

Alex Nice Build!
The kit is now on line for shipment, and will be at York. You can also order it as a kit or as part of our Korber Komplete and Alex will build it for you.
The kit can be built either in all Concrete or in the Concrete and Brick as Alex did. The Kit is modular, so you can build it in any way you want. It can be made as a stand alone if needed by re configuring the kit.
The elevation of the first level is high enough to pass a train through it. Here are some more photos.
Thanks Eliot, Gene
Bond, it is now available on the Korber site
Paul it is now available on the Korber site as a kit or option to have it built up, the building is designed to accommodate a train to pass under it, There's approximately 5 1/4 inches of height.
Thanks, Alex
Here's a few more structures that will be at The Korber models booth this coming week at York. Come see us in the orange hall at location Bb10, we have many many kits and built up models
Thanks , Alex and Rich
Nicely done Alex. Can't wait to see them at York.
Looks fantastic Alex. Sure would look great on my layout, but I'm all out of wall space. Dang it!
See you at York.
Those are great, which ones will find a home on your new layout?
Alex,
Just want to thank you for posting this information on Ted's Textiles. I got the kit a few weeks ago from Mr. Muffins/Korber. The instructions are very limited and I have been trying to figure out how this all goes together.
Without your post I might have ended up just using the whole project for spare parts !! The pictures you have posted really show how the upper and lower sections go together. They do not have any of that information in the instructions sheets.
Many thanks for your pictures I will now be able to complete the building.

Alex, does it have sufficient width to use Fastrack?
Like everything else built by Alex, FANTASTIC.

Hi Kenn,
I'm fairly sure it does have enough width, if not you can simply trim the sides of the fastrack.

Thank you, Alex.
Another outstanding structure from JADA Enterprises. Awesome job Alex.
I never tried fast track but the space should be enough to fit it.
