Labels for Glenn Snyder Shelves?

Has anyone seen, or made, labels that would fit/attach to GSDS? I was sent a picture of someone who had homemade shelves, and beneath each locomotive was a neatly hand-written label attached to the edge of the shelf, and I wondered if someone had a solution like that already.

I've used a Ptouch label maker. Or old school Dymo labeler.
